Story
We collaborated closely with both the contractor and designer for this custom enclosure. The client desired a more luxurious shower experience and chose the more substantial ½” thick glass. Standard clear glass at this thickness would bring out the natural green tint, which the client did not want. Therefore, we used ultra-clear, low-iron OptiWhite (Starphire) glass to maintain clarity and enhance the upscale feel of the shower. A spot-resistant coating was added to keep the glass looking pristine for as long as possible. Brushed nickel square hinges, clamps, and handles were selected to complement the sharp corners of the shower design and blend seamlessly with the square shower hardware (valve, wand, etc.).
What started as a beautiful blank canvas has been transformed into a final masterpiece, with custom shower glass as the finishing touch—all in less than 2 weeks.
