How to prepare (quick checklist)
Clear the shower area so we can access all walls and the curb/threshold.
Have a decision‑maker present to approve layout, height, and hardware.
Ensure tile & curb are complete and dry. If not, we can still consult, but final measurement may be rescheduled after tile is finished.
- Have payment method ready if you’d like to place the deposit at the visit (card/check/online payments options (i.e. Apple Pay, ACH)—confirm options with your rep).
- Optional: Text us a few photos of the shower beforehand if anything unusual.
Glass options: Clear vs. Low‑Iron
Standard clear glass contains natural iron, which gives a subtle green tint—more noticeable against white tile and light stone.
Low‑iron (aka OptiWhite) reduces that green cast so colors behind the glass look truer and brighter. Many clients choose it for light palettes and premium finishes. Low‑iron is a higher‑cost option; we’ll quote both so you can compare.
Thickness: Most frameless enclosures use 3/8" glass; 1/2" is available for a more substantial look (heavier hardware; may affect budget and lead‑time).
Warranty & important water management notes
Our Warranty: We stand behind our workmanship and hardware per the terms on your invoice. Your rep will review specific coverage and duration.
⚠️ Frameless Enclosure Water Disclaimer
Frameless shower doors are designed for beauty and minimal framing and, by nature, include small gaps around doors and panels. They are not guaranteed to be 100% watertight. Proper curb slope, tile details, and reasonable showering habits are required to minimize escape of water. Minor splashes or droplets on the floor or curb can be normal. If you prefer maximum water containment, let us know—we can recommend design tweaks (sweeps, headers, transoms, or different configurations).
After the visit: next steps

Quick FAQ
Do I need to be there? Yes—someone who can approve design and deposit should be present.
Tile isn’t finished yet—should I cancel? We should reschedule, final measurement must occur after tile and curb are complete and dry.
Can you move plumbing or fix tile issues? We do glass and hardware. We’ll flag any site concerns so your contractor can correct them before install.
How long does install take? Many standard installs finish the same day. Because every enclosure is custom-made for your opening, there are rare cases where we’ll schedule a short second visit to complete the work if a fabricated panel needs an adjustment to fit site conditions. This is uncommon, and your ClearCheck rep will review these details with you in advance and keep you updated.
